What is Dispatch?
The Dispatch board is the central hub for managing active calls and unit assignments in real time. Dispatchers can create calls, assign officers and EMS units, update call statuses, and track all active incidents across the community.
Accessing Dispatch
Navigate to Dispatch in the top navigation from your community dashboard. The board automatically refreshes in real time — no page reloads needed.
Board Layout
The dispatch board is divided into three columns:
- Active Calls — all open incidents currently being managed
- Available Units — officers and EMS units currently signed on and available
- Recent — calls that have been closed in the last hour
Who Can Use Dispatch?
Any member with the Dispatcher or Admin role can manage the dispatch board. Officers who are signed on as a unit can see the board but cannot create or modify calls unless they also have dispatcher access.
