Fire Department Module

The Fire Department module shares the EMS dispatch board but maintains its own unit pool and call types. FD units are signed on separately from EMS units and are dispatched from the Fire section of the board.

Fire Call Types

Common fire call types include structure fires, vehicle fires, brush fires, and hazmat incidents. Your community administrator configures available call types in Settings.

Multi-Agency Calls

Some incidents require both EMS and FD response. ProtonCAD supports multi-agency calls — create the call and assign units from both departments. All assigned units can see the same call details and communicate via the on-call notes panel.
