Role Overview
ProtonCAD uses a simple role system to control what each member can see and do within your community.
Available Roles
- Owner — Full control over the community. Can manage billing, delete the community, and change all settings. Only one owner per community.
- Admin — Can manage members, approve requests, edit community settings, and access all CAD features.
- Member — Standard access. Can use the CAD features they have been granted (LEO, EMS, Dispatch, etc.).
Changing a Member's Role
Navigate to Members in your community dashboard. Click a member's name to open their profile, then use the Change Role dropdown to promote or demote them.
Removing Members
Owners and admins can remove a member from the community via their member profile. Removed members lose all access immediately but their reports and records remain in the system.
