What is a Warrant?
A warrant is an active legal document authorizing the arrest or search of a citizen or property. Warrants are created directly in the LEO MDT and are visible to all officers in your community.
Checking for Warrants
Warrants are shown automatically in name and plate lookups when a matching subject has an active warrant. They are also listed in the MDT → Warrants section.
Warrant Statuses
- Active — the warrant is live and the subject should be arrested on sight
- Served — the subject has been arrested and the warrant has been executed
- Vacated — the warrant has been cancelled
Executing a Warrant
When you arrest a subject with an active warrant, open the warrant from the MDT and click Mark as Served. This updates the warrant status and links the execution to your officer record.
